WALTER BENNETT

Walter Bennett’s novel Leaving Tuscaloosa (Fuze Publishing, 2012) was a finalist for the 2010 PEN/Bellwether Prize for Socially Engaged Fiction. He has written numerous articles on law, as well as the book The Lawyer’s Myth: Reviving Ideals in the Legal Profession (University of Chicago Press, 2001). His short fiction has appeared in both print and online journals, including The Cortland Review. A recent essay on trout fishing, “Black Quill,” appears in Astream: American Writers on Fly Fishing (Skyhorse Publishing, 2012).  end
