ALLAN PETERSON

Allan Peterson is the author of five books: Precarious (42 Miles Press, 2014); Fragile Acts (McSweeney’s, 2012), a finalist for both the 2013 National Book Critics Circle and Oregon Book Awards; As Much As (Salmon Poetry, 2011); All the Lavish in Common (University of Massachusetts Press, 2006), winner of the 2005 Juniper Prize for Poetry; and Anonymous Or (Defined Providence Prize, 2001); along with seven chapbooks, most recently, Other Than They Seem, winner of the 2014 Snowbound Chapbook Prize from Tupelo Press, selected by Ruth Ellen Kocher. Peterson has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Florida Fine Arts Council.  end
