Breast-Feeding Across America

The ones given most are worst. Electrified, they
won’t grow into it

and everything cancels. Happening
at great speeds—a mother and a child and cows

across space communicating. They know what has happened

and yield a point in life. This is the whole
universe.      Under the mother’s skirt—

everlasting. The baby that was ignored and the other,
the first pornographer.

Desperate unstoppable

across her life. We actually lie about it. We live here,
but we lie about it.
