Irene Pérez is currently pursuing a degree in Studio Arts at University of Illinois at Chicago. She is also a gallery assistant and co-curator at Orleans Street Gallery in Saint Charles, Illinois. From 2002 to 2006, she worked as a gallery assistant at the Gahlberg Gallery at College of DuPage, where she created documentary video of exhibitions: Amanuensis (I Hear a Symphony) An Installation by Stephen Lapthisophon, Richard Holland: Pressure Change, and Kevin Hamilton: Department of Rhythmanalysis: College of DuPage. Pérez is also an artist working primarily in sculpture and installation pieces.
