Alexis Apfelbaum will graduate from Temple University at the end of June and will enter the MFA program at Rutgers University in the fall of 2009. Her first publication, “The Orange Haired Baby,” appears in the Fall, 2008 issue of Global City Review. Apfelbaum has studied creative writing at the Paris American Academy, the Colgate University Chenango Valley Writers’ Conference, and Sewanee’s Young Writer’s Conference. She currently lives in Philadelphia.
