Dawn Lonsinger
DAWN LONSINGER
Dawn Lonsinger is a managing editor for Western Humanities Review. She is working toward a doctorate in English and creative writing at the University of Utah and received her MFA in poetry from Cornell University. Her chapbook, The Linoleum Crop, was chosen by Thomas Lux as the recipient of the 2007 Jeanne Duval Editions Chapbook Contest. Her second chapbook, The Nested Object, was recently released by Dancing Girl Press. Her poems have appeared in American Letters & Commentary, New Orleans Review, The Massachusetts Review, Sonora Review, Drunken Boat, Columbia Poetry Review, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of three, Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prizes, the Beullah Rose Poetry Prize from Smartish Pace, and a Fulbright Fellowship. Her manuscript was recently a finalist for the Cleveland State Poetry Center First Book Prize and the Tupelo Press/Crazyhorse First Book Prize.  end
