PETER JAY SHIPPY
Peter Jay Shippy is the author of How to Build the Ghost in Your Attic (Rose Metal Press, 2007), Alphaville (BlazeVOX Books, 2006), and Thieves’ Latin (University of Iowa Press, 2003). He has received fellowships in drama and poetry from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. He won the Iowa Poetry Prize in 2002 and a Gertrude Stein Award for Innovative Poetry in 2005. His work has appeared in The American Poetry Review, The Boston Globe, The Iowa Review, and Ploughshares.He teaches literature and writing at Emerson College in Boston.  end
