MAUREEN ALSOP

Maureen Alsop is the author of two collections of poetry: The Diction of Moths, (forthcoming from Ghost Road Press) and Apparition Wren (Main Street Rag, 2007). She is also the author of several chapbooks, including the dream and the dream you spoke (forthcoming from Spire Press) and Luminal Equation, which appears in the collection Narwhal (Cannibal Press, 2009). Alsop is the winner of Harpur Palate's Milton Kessler Memorial Prize for Poetry and The Bitter Oleander’s Frances Locke Memorial Poetry Award. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in various journals, including Tampa Review, New Delta Review, Typo, and AGNI.  end
