Emilia Phillips is the author of Signaletics (forthcoming from the University of Akron Press, 2013). She is the author of two chapbooks, Bestiary of Gall (forthcoming from Sundress Publications, 2013) and Strange Meeting (Eureka Press, 2010). Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in AGNI, Colorado Review, DIAGRAM, Hayden’s Ferry Review, The Journal, The Kenyon Review, Third Coast, and elsewhere. Her reviews appear in Blackbird, Cerise Press, The Collagist, diode, and Pleiades, among other publications. She is the recipient of the 2012 Poetry Prize from The Journal, the Zoland Poetry Fellowship from Vermont Studio Center, and a scholarship from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference. Phillips is an associate editor emerita and literary editor of Blackbird.
